Giants Causeway

The Causeway Coastal Route is amazing. It’s a 120-mile drive that’s considered one of the top road trips in the world. It starts near Belfast and follows the stunning Atlantic coastline until you get to Derry~Londonderry. Along the way, you’ll find charming seaside towns and cute fishing villages. Places like Cushendall and Ballycastle are real gems. And if you’re into golf, there are some awesome golf courses to check out.

Dark Hedges

Game of Thrones fans, listen up! You can explore Westeros locations right here. Even if you’re not a fan, these places are worth seeing. You can visit spots like Slaver Bay and Renly’s Camp at Murlough Bay, or walk through the famous Dark Hedges, which is the Kingsroad. Downhill Beach and Mussenden Temple are Dragonstone locations, and Binevenagh Mountain is the Dothraki Grasslands. You can even hike the Dragonstone Cliffs at Fair Head. It’s pretty cool.

Ballintoy Harbour is nestled within the enchanting village of Ballintoy, characterized by its unique geographical feature known as a ‘raised beach.’ Situated along the B15 coast road, this gem is located 17 miles northeast of Coleraine and just five miles west of Ballycastle. To reach this hidden treasure, you’ll embark on a thrilling journey along a spectacular, winding road with steep inclines. Once you arrive, you’ll be greeted by a painter’s paradise, featuring sea stacks, rocky islands, tranquil pools, and a bustling harbor, all leading to one of Europe’s most breathtaking cliff-top and wild beach walks. Adjacent to the harbor café, you’ll find a convenient car park and picnic facilities for your enjoyment.

Ballintoy Harbour

This quaint fishing harbor can be reached via a small, narrow, and steep road that descends Knocksaughey Hill, passing by the entrance to Larrybane and the famous Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge. The village itself, just one kilometer away from the harbor, offers a delightful array of small shops and two charming churches, making it a delightful destination for visitors.

Mussenden Temple, Causeway Coast

Don’t miss the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Giant’s Causeway. It’s a must-see attraction in Northern Ireland. Are the stones a result of volcanic action millions of years ago, or did the giant Finn McCool build them? You’ll have to visit to decide. And if you want a special experience, you can have whiskey with the National Trust and Bushmills Distillery while enjoying the giant’s spirit.

For more adventure, head 8 miles down the road to the Carrick-a-rede Rope Bridge. You can book an awesome Beyond the Bridge Experience to cross the bridge to a tiny island. It’s thrilling!

Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge

Nature lovers, you’ll be amazed by the nine Glens of Antrim. Glenariff, known as the Queen of the Glens, is a must-see. There are marked walking routes like the Moyle Way and the Causeway Coast Way that take you along the coastline and through valleys and hills. If you’re into water sports, you’ll have a blast in the Atlantic Ocean and the River Bann. You might even spot some dolphins on a sea safari or ride the waves while surfing. Kayaking can lead you to hidden caves, and there’s fishing for those big fish tales.
